Congratulations to Oklahoma, Tulsa Tech and Haas Factory Outlet-Timco on a successful FIRST Regional HTEC Conference!

Hosted by Tulsa Tech - Broken Arrow Campus, there were 39 total in attendance (18 Educators from 9 schools, 2 HTEC Partners, 15 Industry Guests and 4 Students), lots of great networking and dialogue about making connections between Education, Industry and Community about Machining and Manufacturing Career Pathways!

HTEC Partner and Luncheon Speaker, Catherine Ross from National Institute for Metalworking Skills shared information on Apprenticeships - what great information and very well received - followed by the Edge Factor video on the Montez King story.

Dave Ott from Immerse2learn shared more about the I2L programs as well.

Thank you to Tulsa Tech and Haas Factory Outlet, a Division of Timco for hosting/sponsoring the event and to Kathy Newman LoomanKathy and the Gene Haas Foundation - total big checks awarded to Oklahoma Schools at the conference (see photo) was $70,000!!

We already have a host for the 2nd Oklahoma HTEC - thanks to Gordon Cooper Technology Center!
