The virtual field trip features the people and the technology that empower makers internationally with the machines they need to build the future and create new products. This video will be played in front of thousands of students, as Edge Factor partners with schools and the HTEC network across North America, as part of their mission to equip educators . . .

Fairfax, Virginia, April 19, 2015—NIMS, the precision manufacturing industry’s premier standards and certification body, and the Gene Haas Foundation (GHF), which provides scholarships to schools for students entering technical training programs, are partnering to provide scholarship funds directly to the near-future workforce. The scholarships will be given to select SkillsUSA students, who represent some of the nation’s top young talent in precision machining and metalworking.
