     9th Annual CNC Educator Training Conference will be at  California Polytechnic State University

July 27-30, 2015    

Four Fall, 2014 CNC Educator Training Conferences – Set

Four locations and dates are set for Fall CNC Educator HTEC Training Conferences.  These events are free and open to all manufacturing technology educators.  All that’s required is pre-registration to reserve your seat for the event you wish to attend.  Lunch is included. These conferences are excellent opportunities to learn, share and network with teachers and CNC technology providers in your state or region.  Online registration and details about the event near you can be found on the HTEC website under Events > HTEC Conferences.

850 educators and HTEC partners have attended nine different HTEC conferences so far this year.   Here are the four locations for the Fall Conferences:

4th Southern Illinois/Missouri – Rankin Technical College, St. Louis, MO.  October 17, 2014.  Jeff Ogle of Ranken is host.  Sponsored by HFO St. Louis – Mike Hamilton.

6th Northern California – De Anza College, Cupertino CA. October 25, 2014. Mike Appio of De Anza College is host.  Organizers are the Northern California HTEC Team: Louis Quindlen, Mark Martin, Dan Sunia, Mike Appio & Mark Larson.  HFO Selway – Pat Hayes to sponsor.

6th North Carolina – Surry Community College, Dobson, NC.  November 6 & 7, 2014.  Corey Easter of Surry CC is host and Garret Parker of AIMS is assisting in organizing the event.  HFO Greensboro – Jeffreys, Brooks Barwick to sponsor.

3rd Illinois Conference – Richard J. Daley College, Chicago, IL.  November 7, 2014.  Ray Prendergast of Richard J. Daley College is host.  HFO Chicago, Jeff Holzapple to sponsor.

Smartforce Student Summit

IMTS has a longstanding tradition of gathering middle school, high school and college students, educators, administrators and parent chaperones to experience advanced manufacturing technology and have direct contact with the industry professionals whose minds move manufacturing forward. It’s the next generation Smartforce entering the manufacturing technology industry who will keep the U.S. in its global manufacturing leadership position.

Dates & Hours:
Smartforce Student Summit will be held at McCormick Place in Chicago during IMTS 2014.
Dates: Monday through Saturday, 
          Sept. 8-13 , 2014
Hours: 9 am – 3 pm

Registration for schools is FREE, easy and will take just a few minutes to complete. Just provide us some brief information about you, your school, your program, the number of students you think you'll bring and on which day you anticipate visiting the student summit.
