The faculty and staff within the manufacturing network work directly with students; proving and analyzing concepts through prototyping The manufacturing network supports project requirements of classes within the School of Enginering (SoE). Student project-based classes interacting with the manufacturing network include;
Design of Mechanical Systems offered through the Multidisciplinary Design Laboratory, Advanced Manufacturing Laboratory (AML) I & II, Engineering Processes, Introduction to Engineering Design (IED), Product Design and innovation Studio Classes, and Introduction to Rapid Prototyping. Further, the faculty and staff in the manufacturing network support the development, management and delivery of classes related to manufacturing processes and systems. These classes are offered through Core Engineering and include;
General Manufacturing, AML I & II, Engineering Processes, and Introduction to Computer Aided Manufacturing.
